Hoses and tubes are the heart of the peristaltic pump. To maintain a long life time of the hose / tube, several factors comes into account. These are:

- The liquid being pumped (chemical resistance)
- Content of solids

- Suction lift
- Speed

NR hose
NR is always the first option. Over 75% of the peristaltic applications can be applied with this hose type. Best abrasion resistant and mechanical strength. The NR hose is particularly suited for all lightly corrosive chemicals and neutral products with abrasive contents. Generally resistant to diluted acids, alcohols and alkaline products. Not suitable for oily and fatty chemicals and foodstuffs

NR-A hose
The NR-A hose outer casing is made of natural rubber and the inner core is in white / cream colored butyl rubber. Reinforced by two tough textile inlays. It is particularly suited for applications with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, drinking water, milk and other non-oily and non-greasy products. Furthermore, it can handle products with abrasive content. The hose complies with FDA specifications.
Temperature range: -20 up to 80° C
Maximum pressure: 15 Bar
EPDM hose
The EPDM hose is particularly suited to delivering corrosive chemicals and has also shown great worth in transporting sewage contaminated with solvents. The core is EPDM, black and smooth. Moreover, it is emphasized for this hose, the cover is made of EPDM, in contrast to many other hoses where the cover is made of natural rubber. Thus the hose is therefore exceptionally chemical- resistant, even for diffusing media. The hose is reinforced by tough textile inlays.
Temperature range: -20 up to 80 °C
HYPALON hose
HYPALON has excellent chemical resistance, recommended for strong oxidizing products like concentrated acids (nitric, chornic, hydrocholric, etc.), Alkaline liquids (sodium and potassium hydroxides), and oxygen-generating products such as hydrogen peroxide.
NBR hose
The NBR hose is a particularly suitable for oils, fats and other fatty products and types of products containing hydrocarbons. The inner core is in Buna NBR (nitrile rubber) and outer cover made of natural rubber.
Temperature range: -20 up to 80° C
Maximum pressure: 15 Bar
NBR-A hose
The NBR-A hose that is approved by the FDA and is especially suited for food products. It is resistant to oily and greasy products and cleaning products. The inner core consists of nitrile rubber which is food approved in accordance with FDA specifications. The outer shell is made of natural rubber.
Temperature range: -20 up to 80° C
Maximum pressure: 15 Bar
TYGON tube
This is a non-reinforced tube. Tygon tubing is used in many markets, including food and beverage, chemical processing, industrial, laboratory, medical, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor processing. Only available for APY series.
Temperature range: -10 up to 70°C

NORPRENE tube
NORPRENE A60F tube
NORPRENE A60F is a thermoplastic food grade tube. Only available for APY series, ISI series and IP-40 model. The maximum pressure is only 2 bars. Working temperature up to 120° C, and big range of chemical compatability. CIP (claning process) resistant (very useful for food applications).
NORPRENE A60G tube
NORPRENE A60G is a thermoplastic tube. Only available for APY series. Is the first choice for APY, due the extremely long life time. Big range of chemical compatibility and 120° C maximum temperature.
SILICONE tube
SILICONE is a non-reinforced tube and is widely used for single-use biopharm applications, as well as pH control and media feed in fermentation, metering, transfer and filtration applications. Only available for APY series.
Temperature range: -10 up to 135° C
Maximum pressure: 2 bars
SOLVA tube
SOLVA is solvent resistant, its characteristic allows it to be used for aromatic oils, solvents, petroleum compounds, inks and many other applications. It is also phthalate-free, meeting the modern requirements of tubing under REACH regulation. SOLVA exhibits comparable chemical resistance properties to Viton tubing, but is more competitively priced due to the use of PVC material. Only available for APY series.
